Hillingdon BJJ is a prestigious Jiu-Jitsu school located in West London, specifically in Hayes, Middlesex. With a strong emphasis on community and inclusivity, Hillingdon BJJ welcomes individuals of all genders, experience levels, and fitness levels who are aged 17 and above.
Led by instructors with black belt level expertise, the adult and U18 classes provide comprehensive and top-notch instruction in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The classes offer a combination of Gi and No-Gi training, catering to individuals who are interested in competing as well as those who simply want to cultivate a new hobby.
For the younger members, the U18s programme is thoughtfully split into different age groups: Kids (5-8 years old), Juniors (8-11 years old), and Teens (11–17 years old). These classes aim to instil self-defence skills, respect, discipline, and improved fitness in a safe and enjoyable environment. Instructors in this programme are DBS checked and focus on creating a fun and educational atmosphere for the participants. Both male and female coaches contribute to the instruction of these classes.
Additionally, Hillingdon BJJ offers a unique opportunity for women to train in a safe and supportive environment through their Ladies Only classes. These classes are specifically designed for women who are looking to improve their fitness, learn self-defence techniques, and build confidence. Led by a female coach, the classes place a special emphasis on techniques that do not rely solely on size or strength advantages over an opponent.
Hillingdon BJJ is located at Hayes Rugby Club, situated on Kingshill Avenue in Hayes. The club is easily accessible and provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all participants.
