Halifax Harriers presents the Helen Windsor 10k 2024, a thrilling 10 km road race set to take place on Sunday 7th July 2024. Runners will tackle the scenic moorland roads of Greetland, promising an exciting day of competition. With chip timing in place, participants can expect an organised and accurate race experience.
Interested runners can sign up online from February/March 2024 until the entry deadline on Sunday 23rd June 2024 at midnight. Race numbers can be collected on the day at the Greetland All Rounders Sports Club. The entry fee is £15 for pre-entry and £17 for on-the-day registrations, but remember, the race is limited to 400 runners, so make sure to secure your spot early!
The event is open to participants aged 15 and over on race day. Results from the previous year can be viewed online, and the race holds an England Athletics Licence 2023. Winners can look forward to a cash prize and there will be a prize list for the top 3 ladies, top 3 men, and the first veteran in each category, as well as the first ladies and men's team.
Don't forget to observe the race rules – please refrain from using any music playing devices during the event. The course for the 2023 race is certified by the Association of UK, ensuring a fair and accurate route for all participants.
