Join Capoeira – Group Senzala North East at the Heaton Community Centre in Heaton for weekly Capoeira classes every Tuesday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Led by the experienced teachers Mestre Tazmania and Contramestre Caranguejo, these classes offer a comprehensive training experience. The session kicks off with a warm-up and stretching routine to prepare your body for the intense movements of Capoeira. Following that, you will engage in various training exercises to hone your techniques.

But the highlight of the class is undoubtedly the roda, a circle where Capoeira is played. This is an opportunity for students to put their skills into practice in a lively and energetic atmosphere. Mestre Tazmania brings a wealth of experience to the classes, having started his Capoeira journey in 1989 under the guidance of Mestre Gato, one of the founding members of the Senzala group in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Contramestre Caranguejo, one of Mestre Tazmania's first students, has been playing Capoeira since 1994, ensuring that you receive top-notch instruction from dedicated and knowledgeable teachers.
