Saffron has been practising yoga for over 20 years and became a qualified yoga teacher (RYT 200) in 2020 with CAMYOGA. At 43 years old and a mother of two, Saffron discovered yoga out of curiosity and witnessed the incredible benefits it provided to people of her parents' age. Through regular practise, she was able to understand her body better, identifying weaknesses and imbalances and improving them through targeted yoga sequences.
Yoga not only enhanced Saffron's physical well-being but also improved her breathing and calmed her mind. As an avid runner, swimmer, and cyclist, yoga played an integral role in keeping her injury-free and rehabilitating any sports-related niggles. After becoming a mother, Saffron found yoga to be an essential tool in regaining strength and mobility post-pregnancy. It not only helped her rebuild fitness but also provided a sanctuary for her mind, alleviating anxiety and stress.
Equipped with her personal experiences and qualifications, Saffron is passionate about sharing her knowledge and empowering others to understand their bodies and lead healthier lives. Her teaching style focuses on making her students stronger, more flexible, and more confident in their bodies. In addition to her 200-hour yoga teacher training, Saffron has furthered her education in various areas of yoga and movement. She has completed courses on topics such as the vital psoas muscle, yoga for the lower back, functional movement of the shoulder girdle, unlocking the feet, pranayama, and meditation. Saffron's comprehensive understanding of anatomy and her experience as a personal trainer and sports therapist allow her to provide a safe and effective practise for her students.
