Headington Bowls Club, founded in 1924, is a prominent sports club located in Osler Road, Headington, Oxford. Affiliated with Bowls England, Oxfordshire Bowling Association, and Bowls Oxfordshire Ladies, the club has established itself as a leading entity in the world of lawn bowls. Over the past 12 years, Headington Bowls Club has proven itself as one of the most successful clubs in the county. The club has emerged victorious in several County Finals and has found considerable success in the Oxfordshire Bowls League and League Cup, securing numerous wins. In the 2011 season, Headington Bowls Club achieved an exceptional feat by triumphing in all four County Competitions and clinching the Oxfordshire Bowls League Division One title.

Headington Bowls Club boasts two teams participating in the men's Oxfordshire Bowls League, competing on Thursday nights throughout the season. The club also organises mixed friendly games played on Saturdays, Sundays, and select weekdays. The welcoming nature of Headington Bowls Club extends to beginners of all ages, who are encouraged to join and receive coaching support to familiarise themselves with the sport. All members, irrespective of experience, are encouraged to participate in the club's games, including both men's and mixed fixtures.

Apart from the bowling members, Headington Bowls Club warmly welcomes social members as well. The clubhouse features a comfortable lounge bar, providing a relaxing environment to enjoy a drink while watching the enthralling matches on the green.

As Headington Bowls Club approaches its centenary in 2024, the club is gearing up for a special year. In celebration of this milestone, all club games in the upcoming season will require bowlers to wear the new type bowls kit. Details regarding sizes for shirts, trousers, shorts, and jackets will be posted on the notice board by August 25th, 2023. An order form will also be available for interested members to place their order, along with a deposit of 20 per individual.

The club will be placing the order by the end of September 2023, with an estimated lead time of 20 weeks.
