Headington Bowls Club boasts two teams participating in the men's Oxfordshire Bowls League, competing on Thursday nights throughout the season. The club also organises mixed friendly games played on Saturdays, Sundays, and select weekdays. The welcoming nature of Headington Bowls Club extends to beginners of all ages, who are encouraged to join and receive coaching support to familiarise themselves with the sport. All members, irrespective of experience, are encouraged to participate in the club's games, including both men's and mixed fixtures.

In celebration of this milestone, all club games in the upcoming season will require bowlers to wear the new type bowls kit. Details regarding sizes for shirts, trousers, shorts, and jackets will be posted on the notice board by August 25th, 2023. An order form will also be available for interested members to place their order, along with a deposit of 20 per individual.
The club will be placing the order by the end of September 2023, with an estimated lead time of 20 weeks.
