Alan, the organiser, wants to share some exciting news with the sports community about Hayle Swimming Pool. The lovely spot at King George V Memorial Walk in Hayle is ready to open its doors for another season of refreshing swims, managed by Hayle Outdoor Swimming Pool.

The pool will open on Saturday 27 May, kicking off with daily sessions throughout the half-term. After half-term, it will be open on weekends only until Saturday 24 June, when daily openings will resume, running straight through to Sunday 10 September. Swimming sessions will be available in three time slots: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm, and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Alan asks that anyone experiencing symptoms like a temperature, cough, or loss of taste or smell should stay home to keep everyone safe. Swimmers will need to exit the pool 10 minutes before the end of their session to give enough time for changing and to help lifeguards get ready for the next group.

Tickets are priced at £3.50 per person, for both swimmers and spectators, and are non-refundable. To manage crowds and ensure social distancing, booking online or paying by card at the entrance is necessary.

Online bookings will be given priority when entering. However, if there’s space, walk-ins can pay by card on arrival. To book a session, visit the Hayle Outdoor Swimming Pool Facebook Page and click the 'Book Here' link, which takes you to the booking system. You can select your date and time slot there, and payments can be made securely. Remember, bookings can only be made up to a week in advance. If plans change, please reschedule as tickets are non-refundable.

When arriving, bring your booking reference number or an email printout for verification. It’s also essential to read and agree to the terms and conditions before finalising your purchase.

For this season, Alan notes that there will be no season tickets or local passes available. Everyone is encouraged to follow the guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all. Please note, "cash on the door" swims will not be offered, and after each session, all visitors must vacate the premises.
