Since its founding in 1961, Hayle Surf Life Saving Club in Cornwall has been dedicated to promoting safety in the water. It was established in response to tragic incidents on the beach, with a mission to prevent such events and ensure everyone can enjoy the ocean safely. Today, with over 250 members, the club offers a chance for locals to gain confidence and essential skills at any age.

The club focuses on education, public service, improving water skills, fitness, and most importantly, having fun. Open to all, it welcomes new members enthusiastically. Those who join can learn life-saving skills, with opportunities to become professional RNLI lifeguards. There's also a variety of competitions, fostering camaraderie and healthy rivalry among the members.

With top-notch racing and life-saving equipment, the club provides excellent training resources. Experienced coaches are there to support and guide members in achieving their goals, whether aiming to become proficient in water skills or simply looking to improve.
