Are you the owner of Havelock North Bowling Club?

Have a question or need more info about the club? Hit up Vice President Vince Veal, Treasurer Faye Lacey, Secretary Heather Leyland, or Patron Don Clapperton—they've got you covered.
Bowls Havelock North has been a cornerstone of the Havelock community since 1916, sitting pretty in the heart of the village at the corner of Porter Drive and Joll Road. It's one of the biggest bowling clubs in Hawke's Bay with 194 members, 166 of whom are active players. And guess what? The club's got two top-notch all-weather artificial greens, meaning you can bowl all year round, rain or shine.
New players are always welcome. Just head to their website to grab a Membership Nomination form. If you’re new to bowls or just want to give it a shot, they offer coaching sessions that fit your schedule. Reach out to their coaching coordinator for deets.
Come January/February, don’t miss the Business House Triples event where businesses and groups can enjoy a friendly game. Plus, check out the 'Give it a Go' day—you might discover your new favourite sport!
Bowls Havelock North’s players are no slackers either. Shoutout to Susan Belcher, Liffy Law, Helen Bentley, and Sharon Douglas for winning the Open Ladies Fours, and Ian Mason, Shane Kingston, Darryl Lacey, and Pat O'Neil for clinching the Open Men's Fours. Legends!
