Welcome to the Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs Swimming Club in Hastings! We are excited to invite you to an upcoming local swimming event at the Hastings Caves State Reserve.
The Reserve is truly a hidden gem, nestled within the stunning Tasmanian landscape. One of the main attractions is the magnificent Newdegate Cave, which has been forming for over 40 million years. With its intricate chambers and mesmerising subterranean formations, this dolomite tourist cave is a sight to behold. Trust us, you won't want to miss exploring its enchanting depths!
But that's not all the Reserve has to offer. After your cave adventure, you can take a dip in the swimming pool, which is fed by mineral-rich thermal springs. Picture yourself relaxing in the warm, soothing water that stays at a pleasant 28 degrees all year round. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge those swimming skills!

Take a leisurely stroll through the breathtaking forest surrounds and soak up the tranquil beauty of nature. And don't forget to pack a picnic or fire up a barbecue, as this picturesque setting is just begging for some quality outdoor dining.
Keep your eyes peeled as you explore, as the Reserve is home to a variety of native wildlife. Look out for the adorable platypus, the elusive quolls, the cute pademelons, and a diverse range of bird species. Nature lovers will be in their element here!
