Welcome to Harleston Memorial Leisure Centre, the leading community facility in Harleston, Norfolk. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, sports lover, or just looking for a place to relax and unwind, we have something for everyone.

Our gym is divided into four sections, catering to all your fitness needs. The Cardio section features top-of-the-line Life Fitness treadmills, x-trainers, stair-master, bikes, and concept 2 rowing machines. We also have functional equipment such as the Concept 2 Ski-Erg and Assault Bike. To keep you entertained during your workout, we have TVs strategically placed around the gym.

In the Resistance Machine section, you'll find Technogym (Element series) machines including Chest Press, Seated Row, Lat pull down, Shoulder press, Leg extension, Lying Hamstring Curl, Pec Deck, Leg press, Adductor, Abductor, Tricep press, and abdominal pull. We also have additional cable machines to target specific muscle groups.

The Free Weights Area is equipped with everything you require for strength training. We have power and squat racks, a lifting platform, bumper plates, plate loaded leg press, dumbbells ranging from 1-50 kg's, Olympic bars, Fixed Barbells 20-45 kg, Multi cable machines, Kettlebells, Back Extension, medicine balls, and a Smith Machine. It's the perfect space for those who prefer free weight exercises.

If boxing is your passion, our Boxing Area has two bags, a speed ball, mats, a step, and TRX equipment. You can also use our studio, which is available to members for circuit-style training and includes a boxing bag, spin bikes, and a wide range of studio equipment.

New members can take advantage of our free inductions, although they are not compulsory. Our qualified instructors will guide you through the proper use of machines and techniques to ensure your safety and effectiveness in your workouts. Additionally, our fitness instructors offer free personalised programmes to help you achieve your fitness goals.

We are proud to announce that in 2023, we will be introducing a leaderboard showcasing the top 10 places for the big three lifts. If you have what it takes, ask at reception to be witnessed and make it to the leaderboard.
