Harbourside Gymnastics Academy

Welcome to Harbourside Gymnastics Academy (HGA), the fastest growing gymnastics centre in East Sussex. HGA is located in Newhaven, near the picturesque Harbourside. Our academy offers a range of classes for all ages and skill levels, from recreational gymnastics to competitive squads and preschool classes.

At HGA, we have a dedicated and passionate team of coaches who are committed to helping our gymnasts achieve their goals. Our coaches are registered with the Independent Gymnastics Association (IGA), ensuring that the club, coaches, and gymnasts are fully insured. They also participate in IGA training courses to gain coaching qualifications.

We take pride in our gymnasts' achievements, and we regularly compete in various competitions. Most recently, our squad gymnasts participated in the IGA level 10-8 competition in High Wycombe, where they brought home an impressive 46 medals, including 21 golds, 14 silvers, and 11 bronzes. Our level 7 gymnasts also performed exceptionally well at the IGA South National Championships in Milton Keynes, winning 6 golds and 3 silvers. We are proud to have produced All Around South Champions and individual event champions.

In addition to gymnastics, we offer a variety of classes for adults, including bungee fitness, pole dancing, aerial hoop, and traditional gymnastics. For children, we have classes in trampolining, double mini tramp, and pre-school activities. We also offer drop-in sessions for soft play, music and movement, and dance.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our gymnasts, all participants in pre-booked classes need to pay a yearly membership fee of 25, which includes insurance coverage from HGA and UK Gymnastics. This membership runs from September to September.
