At Hanmer Horse Trekking, we offer a range of experiences to cater to different levels of riding ability. For beginners, we have the “OK Coral Pony Rides” experience, a 30-minute trek priced at $50 per person. This is perfect for those who have always dreamed of riding a horse but never had the opportunity. Our ponies are gentle and well-trained, and we take the time to make sure you feel comfortable and safe throughout the journey.
After the ride, you can even treat yourself and your pony to a sweet little snack.
For those with a bit more experience, we have “The Pony Express” experience, available as either a 30-minute or 1-hour trek, priced at $60 and $100 per person, respectively. No matter how many hours you've spent in the saddle, this ride is designed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Take in the breathtaking views of the mountains and breathe in the fresh air as you ride through our own piece of paradise.
If you prefer to bring your own horse, we offer a self-guided option for $25 per day or $90 overnight. This allows you to explore not only our farm but also the surrounding areas. Ride alongside our majestic deer, enjoy the amazing mountain views, and experience the thrill of riding through beautiful river crossings. However, please make sure to familiarise yourself with our safety policies and procedures before embarking on this adventure.
