Hamilton Yoga - Iyengar Yoga School is a well-established yoga studio and fitness centre located in the heart of Hamilton, Newcastle. Operating since 1996, it is the longest-operating yoga studio in the area, offering Iyengar yoga classes to students of all ages and abilities.
Owned and led by David Morley, a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher since 1999, Hamilton Yoga brings close to 30 years of teaching experience to its students. David ensures that all yoga classes are taught by highly skilled and experienced teachers who have received extensive training in the Iyengar yoga tradition.
The studio is housed in the iconic G. U. O. F.
hall at Gregson Park, providing a serene and peaceful environment for yoga practise. With classes available 7 days a week, students can easily find a class that fits their schedule.
Hamilton Yoga offers a range of memberships and courses to suit different needs and budgets. For beginners, there is a dedicated Beginners Course which includes one nominated class per week and complimentary access to additional classes. There are also Basic, Standard, and Dedicated Memberships available for regular attendees, offering discounted rates and various class options.
For those who prefer a more flexible schedule, casual attendance options are available. Students can choose from a variety of class passes, including options for teens & kids, beginner-level classes, and single or multiple class passes. Private classes are also offered for those seeking personalised instruction.
Classes at Hamilton Yoga are tailored to suit different experience levels and abilities. They offer classes at four different levels: Beginners, Progressing, Intermediate, and Advanced. Gentle beginner classes are available for those who prefer a slower-paced introduction to yoga, while progressing and intermediate classes are designed for students who have completed the Beginners Course or have prior Iyengar yoga experience.
