Hallamshire Aikido Club, a Mixed Martial Arts club based in Sheffield, is excited to promote its upcoming local event! Whether you're a martial arts enthusiast, a seasoned fighter, or simply looking to try something new, this event is perfect for you.
The club holds practice classes every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. To ensure a smooth start, participants are kindly requested to arrive by 7.15pm. This allows ample time for changing and setting up, as the doors are closed promptly at 7.30pm to begin the lesson.
One of the great things about Hallamshire Aikido Club is that it welcomes individuals of all levels of ability and ages. So whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced, rest assured that you'll find a place to grow and develop your skills within our club.
Established in 1994 by the esteemed instructor Steven Newton Sensei, Hallamshire Aikido Club has thrived over the years and now calls Brantwood Specialist School in Sheffield its home. Our training facilities boast a spacious sports hall, offering ample mat space for training. Additionally, we provide convenient changing spaces and toilets just outside the Dojo for your comfort.
In terms of fees, we offer flexible payment options. You can pay for classes on a per-class basis or choose our convenient monthly payment option. What's more, any months containing five weeks of classes are absolutely free of cost! We also offer concessionary rates for individuals under 18, students, and unwaged individuals, making our classes accessible to all.
Hallamshire Aikido Club is proudly affiliated with the Shobu Aikido UK association, founded by the esteemed George Forbes Sensei. We are also connected with various Aikido practitioners and teachers, ensuring that our members have access to diverse perspectives and training opportunities.
