Halkyn & District Bowling Club

Join the Halkyn & District Bowling Club in Holywell for some exciting bowling action! Run by a passionate team, this welcoming club invites players of all skill levels to enjoy a friendly atmosphere and a strong sense of community.

Every Monday evening at 6pm and Tuesday afternoon at 2pm, open practise sessions are held where experienced members, always eager to help, guide new players through the basics of the game.

The club keeps everyone on their toes with a variety of competitions and events. They recently hosted the 3Way Vets competition with Flint and Oakenholt, where Dennis Strong of Flint clinched the trophy. Halkyn & District has multiple teams competing in different leagues. Captain John Thomas leads the Midweek Team in the Flintshire Midweek League Division 4. The Veterans A Team, under Wyn Lewis, competes in the Deeside Veterans League Division C, while Granville Gittens captains the Veterans B Team in the Deeside Veterans League Division E.
