Is now the Principal of the Whitton-Morris School of Dance & Performing Arts. She is a highly trained and qualified bbodance teacher and has been teaching ballet, modern, tap, and musical theatre for over 30 years. Miss Morris is dedicated to providing the best training and education to her students, ensuring they reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.
EMMA JONES ISTD Teacher Miss Jones is a trained and qualified ISTD teacher who specialises in ballet, modern, and tap. She has been teaching at the Whitton-Morris School of Dance for 10 years and is known for her passion and enthusiasm for dance. Miss Jones strives to inspire her students and help them develop their technique and artistry.
SARAH WILLIAMS Musical Theatre Teacher Miss Williams is a highly experienced musical theatre teacher who has been teaching at the Whitton-Morris School of Dance for 15 years. She has a background in professional theatre and brings her knowledge and expertise to her classes. Miss Williams works closely with her students to develop their singing, acting, and dancing skills, preparing them for a career in musical theatre.
Our team of dedicated and passionate teachers are committed to providing high-quality dance training to children of all ages and abilities. They create a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can thrive and discover their love for dance. Each teacher brings their unique skills and expertise to the school, ensuring a well-rounded education in ballet, modern, tap, and musical theatre.
The Whitton-Morris School of Dance & Performing Arts offers a wide range of classes for children aged 3 to 20. From beginner to advanced levels, students can explore various dance styles and develop their technique, creativity, and performance skills. Our classes follow the syllabus of bbodance and ISTD, two of the leading dance examination boards in the UK, ensuring a structured and comprehensive dance education.
We are proud of our rich history, with the school originally established in 1950 by Miss M Whitton. In 1972, Miss N Morris became a partner and later took over as principal in 1989. Over the years, we have had countless success stories, with former students pursuing careers in dance and performing arts. We celebrate our 72 years of existence and are excited for the future of the Whitton-Morris School of Dance & Performing Arts.
