Are you the owner of Grove Riding School?

Grove Riding School is a horse riding school located in High Wycombe, New Zealand. The school offers horseback riding lessons and training for riders of all ages and skill levels.
The Grove Horseball Club is a special feature of the riding school, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to participate in the fast-paced and exciting sport of horseball. Horseball is a unique game played on horseback, combining elements of rugby and basketball with a football sized ball being shot through hoops. The club was established by a group of passionate individuals who wanted to continue playing and training regularly, with the goal of entering a team in the league in 2017.
Since its establishment, Grove Horseball Club has made great strides in the sport. In 2018, they successfully entered two teams into the league, with one team finishing 3rd in National Division II and their novice team placing 2nd in Division III. They also won the best player/horse combination in Division II, thanks to the efforts of Susi Cooper and Costa.
The club welcomes riders of all levels, offering weekly training sessions to help participants develop and refine their horseball skills. They also organise “Have A Go Days” at the Grove Riding School on a monthly basis, providing an opportunity for individuals with any level of interest in horses to experience the sport.
While the Grove Horseball Club is primarily based in Buckinghamshire, it is conveniently located near the borders of Oxfordshire and Berkshire. The club is committed to introducing horseball to as many people as possible, and therefore strives to host open days and encourage participation from individuals who may not own their own horse. In fact, the club is even willing to travel to private yards and run taster sessions for those who have their own horses and facilities.
The club has a rich history, harking back to a Christmas tradition started long ago at the Grove Riding School. What began as a game of “cushion polo” evolved into an interest in horseball. With the help of the British Horseball Association, the club began playing regularly at Pyatts arena, eventually progressing to playing at a higher level and even winning championships.
In conclusion, Grove Horseball Club at Grove Riding School offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a dedicated group of horseball enthusiasts. With a commitment to training, development, and the introduction of the sport to others, Grove Horseball Club is a fantastic place to learn and enjoy the exhilarating sport of horseball.
