Racquets Badminton Club in High Wycombe, New Zealand, is a friendly and welcoming club that offers opportunities for men, women, and mixed doubles teams to compete in the Wycombe & District Badminton League. In fact, the club proudly won the Wycombe & District Badminton Cup in 2013. Whether you are interested in playing competitive social badminton or joining a league team, Racquets could be the right club for you. The minimum age to join is 16.
Club night at Racquets takes place on Tuesday evenings from 7:15pm to 11:00pm, with the option to utilise four or more courts if needed. The club provides feather shuttles for players. Visitors are always welcome and are requested to pay a visitors fee of 10. 00 per night.
To ensure that the club is the right fit for you, a three-week play-in period is offered so that you can make an informed decision about joining Racquets Badminton Club. If you are interested in attending club night, you can email welcome@racquetsbc. Co. uk.
Please note that after your first session, you will need to join Badminton Wycombe for 10.
Finding Racquets Badminton Club is straightforward as it is located at Wycombe Badminton Centre on Crest Road in High Wycombe, Bucks. To get to the club, once you reach Handcross roundabout off the M40 at Junction 4, take the exit signposted for Aylesbury, Cressex Business Park, and A4010. This exit is also signposted for “Adams Park” and “Park and Ride. ” At the next roundabout, stay in the left-hand lane and take the first exit.
Drive past the cinema on your left-hand side, and you will see the badminton centre, easily recognisable by its large building with a wooden exterior. The car park entrance is on the left immediately after the centre building. If you reach Asda, you have gone too far.
The fixtures for the 2013/2014 season for the men's, ladies, and mixed teams are detailed on the club's website.
