Adults can take advantage of the adult only ski lessons. These lessons are designed for individuals who already have a minimum skill level, including being able to use the drag lift, control their speed, and make snow-plough turns. In addition to improving skiing ability and technique, these lessons also serve as a social gathering. The lessons take place on Thursdays from 11am to 12pm, and the price is 14 per person for a 1-hour lesson.
Skis, boots, and helmets are included in the price.
The centre also offers recreational skiing for both adults and children. To participate, individuals must be able to control their speed, direction, and confidently use a Poma drag lift. If someone has little or no skiing experience, they will need to receive tuition before using the slope recreationally. Straight runs and jumps are not allowed.
Upon arrival, participants must read and sign a declaration agreeing to these requirements. Parents, friends, and non-Gosling ski instructors are not allowed to provide instruction. The nursery slope is exclusively for instructor-led lessons. Any failure to meet the required skiing standard will result in termination of the ski session without a refund.
Appropriate clothing, including gloves, long trousers, and long-sleeved shirts, must be worn at all times on the slope. The bottom of trousers should be wide enough to go over ski boots, and long socks are recommended.
Private lessons are available for individuals of all abilities from 6 years of age. These lessons are a great way to start a new sport or enhance existing skills. All private lessons require a minimum of one week's notice, are subject to instructor availability, and must be paid in full at the time of booking confirmation. Prices for private lessons vary depending on the session length and the number of participants.
Family and friends private lessons for 4 to 6 people are also available. Longer tuition and lesson package deals can be arranged upon request. All private lesson prices include equipment hire.
