Glen Iris School Of Dance, located in Glen Iris, is a dance school offering a wide range of dance classes for students of all ages and levels. Established in 2004, the school has a strong emphasis on Classical Ballet technique, using the renowned Australian Conservatoire of Ballet syllabus, which is based on the Russian Vaganova Method.

The experienced teaching staff consists of fully qualified ex-professional dancers who bring a wealth of performing experience and comprehensive teaching skills.
The comprehensive syllabus at Glen Iris School Of Dance covers a variety of dance styles including Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, and lyrical. Students are given the opportunity to sit annual examinations based on the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet syllabus. In addition, they can participate in the mid and end-of-year concerts, beautifully staged at the Alexander Theatre. Selected students are also invited to take part in competitions and eisteddfods throughout the year.
The school offers classes for students as young as three years old through to their Half Day Intensive Training and Platform Year Programmes. Additionally, there are Kinder Ballet classes available, which provide a perfect introduction to the world of ballet, focusing on developing the child's imagination, confidence, poise, grace, and creative movement.
