One of the main attractions at Glendale Leisure is our self-contained, indoor, heated swimming pool. Guests can enjoy private swimming every day of the year. Our pool and its facilities are conveniently located on the ground floor, making it easily accessible for individuals or groups with mobility needs. Please note that there is one communal changing room available.
The pool is open from 7:00 am till 9:00 pm, with the option for evening swims by arrangement from 9:00 pm till 12:30 am. For those looking for a unique New Year's Eve experience, we offer a midnight swim, so book now to secure your spot.
Glendale Cottages, nestled within the holiday park, serve as the perfect base for your self-catering Northumberland holiday. With access to all of our facilities and activities, these cottages are ideal for exploring Hadrian's Wall. We offer two accommodation options: Glendale Mews, which sleeps 2, and Glendale Cottage, which sleeps 6 (+ 2 z-beds). Both cottages are well-equipped with cots and high chairs, have private gardens and access to woods, and even a children's play area.
Additionally, we offer dry storage for bicycles and off-road parking, making it convenient for outdoor enthusiasts. Best of all, our cottages are pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends along.

Please note that there are specific booking conditions for the swimming pool. Glendale owners do not provide lifeguard cover, and all visitors assume responsibility for their own safety during their private pool hire. Bookings are limited to one hour, including changing time, and must begin and end promptly. Visitors are kindly requested to tidy up any pool toys and maintain the cleanliness of the shower and changing areas within their booking time.
Failure to abide by these rules may result in additional charges. The pool itself measures 10m × 5m × 1. 9m, with a perimeter ledge of 1m depth for added safety.
