Glasgow Jitterbugs, run by Mark, is your go-to spot in Glasgow, Scotland, for learning Lindy Hop, Charleston, Collegiate Shag, and Solo Jazz. Whether you're just starting or have some moves under your belt, everyone’s welcome, and you don't need a partner to join in.

Every Thursday night at 7:15pm, Mark hosts Lindy Hop classes open to all levels, perfect for newcomers to swing dancing. Just drop in – no need to book ahead. Stick around for the 8:30pm rotating swing dance class, which opens its doors to beginners on certain weeks. It’s a fantastic way to dive into different dance styles.

Payment options are straightforward and affordable. Pay on the door by cash or card, or book online for specific classes like the St Louis Shag. Prices are £6 (£4.50 with student ID) for one class, £8 (£6.50 with student ID) for two classes, or grab a 10-class pass for £50 (£40 with student ID). The pass never expires, so use it whenever.

Remember, if you’re new and joining the 8:30pm class, it’s crucial to be on time. The basic footwork taught in the first 15 minutes is essential for the rest of the session.
