Students learn a variety of tap and modern dance styles, including Broadway tap, rhythm tap, and contemporary modern. Like ballet, students have the opportunity to take ISTD exams in tap and modern dance.

Students have the chance to participate in shows every two years at the prestigious Theatre Royal Wakefield, as well as other performances throughout the year. Principal Gaynor Datson is a fully registered I. S. T. D and R.
A. D. dance teacher. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Gaynor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to G-Force Dance Academy.
She started dancing at the age of 3 and went on to train at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester. Gaynor has danced professionally on cruise ships and has taught in Dorset before settling in West Yorkshire. She holds various teaching qualifications and has a deep passion for teaching and nurturing young dancers.
