Advance in their ballet technique. As students progress through the grades, they have the opportunity to take RAD ballet exams, with the majority of students achieving Merit and Distinctions.

G-Force Dance Academy also offers classes in ISTD Tap and Modern dance. These classes provide students with a strong foundation in rhythm, coordination, and musicality. Students learn a variety of tap and modern dance styles, including Broadway tap, rhythm tap, and contemporary modern. Like ballet, students have the opportunity to take ISTD exams in tap and modern dance.

In addition to ballet, tap, and modern, G-Force Dance Academy offers jazz dance classes. These classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, and technique, while also fostering creativity and self-expression. Students learn various jazz dance styles, including Broadway jazz, lyrical jazz, and commercial jazz. Jazz dance is an energetic and dynamic style that allows students to feel confident and empowered on the dance floor.

G-Force Dance Academy believes in providing performance opportunities for students to showcase their talent and hard work. Students have the chance to participate in shows every two years at the prestigious Theatre Royal Wakefield, as well as other performances throughout the year. Recent performances have taken place at renowned venues such as the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and Birmingham Hippodrome. These performances not only allow students to gain valuable stage experience but also foster a sense of accomplishment and pride in their dancing.

Principal Gaynor Datson is a fully registered I. S. T. D and R.

A. D. dance teacher. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Gaynor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to G-Force Dance Academy.

She started dancing at the age of 3 and went on to train at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester. Gaynor has danced professionally on cruise ships and has taught in Dorset before settling in West Yorkshire. She holds various teaching qualifications and has a deep passion for teaching and nurturing young dancers.
