DEDICATION TO PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLBEING THROUGH YOGA. Our mission is to create a space where individuals can come together to explore the practise of yoga, learn from experienced teachers, and connect with a supportive community.
Geraldton Yoga Club offers free community yoga classes that are open to all. These drop-in style classes take place on Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 8am. Our Wednesday class is proudly sponsored by the City of Greater Geraldton, while our Saturday class is sponsored by Flowvitality. During the winter months, classes are held at the QE2 Centre, and during the summer months, they take place on the Geraldton Foreshore.
These classes are suitable for all levels, including beginners. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat and water bottle and arrive early to settle in. It is important to consult with a medical practitioner if you have any medical conditions, especially if you are pregnant or nursing an injury.
Becoming a member of Geraldton Yoga Club offers a range of benefits. Members receive special invites to member-only classes and workshops, as well as a Welcome Pack that includes discount vouchers for local businesses. Members also receive promotional prices on classes, workshops, and retreats in the local area. Subscribing to our newsletter keeps members in the loop about upcoming events and news from the club.
By becoming a member, individuals also have the opportunity to support a not-for-profit organisation that prioritises wellbeing. Additionally, membership provides the chance to expand one's network by connecting with like-minded individuals who are open to personal growth.
The club believes in the power of individual yoga journeys within a group setting. Practising yoga in a supportive community fosters harmony and connexion, enhancing the overall experience of wellbeing. Geraldton Yoga Club is dedicated to providing information about yoga in the local area, including details about classes and introducing individuals to our incredible team of teachers. Our aim is to help individuals find a yoga practise that suits their specific needs.
Geraldton Yoga Club was founded in 2017 when outdoor community yoga classes were introduced as part of the City of Greater Geraldton's school holiday programme. These classes quickly gained popularity, and weekly yoga sessions were soon offered throughout the year. A passionate group of yoga teachers came together to sustain the momentum of this yoga movement. From an initial attendance of 15 people per class, the demand for community yoga has grown, leading to the addition of an extra free weekly class.
More yoga teachers have joined the club, allowing us to expand our reach and share our collective passion for yoga with the local community.

We believe that yoga has the power to transform lives, and our goal is to make this practise accessible to everyone in our local community. We are proud to offer free community classes and support the growth and development of our experienced and inspiring teachers.
