Gently Fit Pilates

Gently Fit Pilates, located in Bognor Regis, is a studio dedicated to helping individuals improve their health and wellbeing through the practise of Pilates. The studio is owned and operated by Joanna Bryson, a qualified fitness instructor who is passionate about educating others on the benefits of this gentle yet effective form of exercise.

Joanna believes in the power of Pilates to produce profound, long-term results by utilising gentle, low-impact movements. She has seen firsthand the positive impact Pilates can have on individuals who have struggled with joint and muscular pain. Witnessing the transformation from “inflexible and weak” to “mobile and strong” is the ultimate job satisfaction for Joanna.

At Gently Fit Pilates, Joanna aims to inspire individuals to give Pilates a try and experience its numerous benefits. The studio offers a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals of all ages and abilities can learn and practise Pilates. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience with Pilates, Gently Fit Pilates has classes designed to meet your needs.

Pilates is a method of body conditioning that works from the inside out, conditioning the entire body from head to toe. It is a low-impact approach that is suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. With concentration and understanding of how the body works, better results can be achieved in a shorter amount of time.

At Gently Fit Pilates, the focus is on proper body alignment, core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Pilates helps individuals develop a strong and stable core, improve posture and alignment, increase flexibility, and build long, lean muscles.

The studio offers a variety of classes, including Pure Pilates, Weight and Pilates, and classes specifically designed for beginners, individuals returning to exercise, those undergoing rehabilitation, and postnatal individuals (with consent from a GP).
