Sharon Gill and Dan Blythe want to share some exciting news with the sports community. Sharon, a 7-time world kickboxing champion, and Dan, a Kung Fu black sash holder, are the driving force behind GB Fit, a well-established gym in Bristol. With over three decades of teaching experience between them, Sharon and Dan love helping people improve their health, wellbeing, and happiness.
GB Fit's mission is to get more folks active and living healthy lives. Their classes are always fun and designed to help you hit your goals. Whether you're into martial arts, which builds discipline and confidence, or prefer fitness classes that skip the hours on a treadmill, there's something for everyone. Expect workouts featuring bodyweight exercises, plyometrics, cardio, pad work, and stretching.

The gym’s timetable is packed with options like Family Kung Fu, Kids Beginners Sparring, Fitness Blast, and Adults Kung Fu. Each class is tailored to different ages and abilities, so everyone feels at ease. There’s even a Little Dragons Kung Fu class for kids aged 4 to 7, which introduces them to kung fu and kickboxing in a playful and spirited way. These sessions focus on building confidence, coordination, and discipline through games and drills.
As the kids grow, the curriculum evolves to keep up with their improving skills.
