Galey MsGuided Fly Fishing offers a range of experiences for both beginners and experienced anglers. If you're new to fly-fishing, we offer instruction sessions where you can learn the basics and get started on your fly-fishing journey. We provide all the necessary tackle and equipment, so you don't have to worry about a thing.
For experienced anglers, we offer guided drift boat trips on the Goulburn River between Eildon and Alexandra. This stretch of river is known for its abundance of rainbow and brown trout, as well as a variety of other species. Our drift boat trips are a fun and relaxing way to spend a day on the water, and our knowledgeable guides will ensure that you have the best fishing experience possible.
At Galey MsGuided Fly Fishing, we have a strict catch and release policy. We believe in preserving and protecting our rivers and their inhabitants, so we do our best to handle and release fish in a way that minimises harm. We follow the KEEPEMWET policy when photographing fish, keeping them in the water as much as possible and handling them with wet hands. Our goal is to leave only footprints and to promote sustainable fishing practises.
Brenda, the owner and operator of Galey MsGuided Fly Fishing, has over 35 years of experience in fishing and guiding. She is a qualified instructor and guide, fully insured, and a member of the Australian Professional Fishing Instructors and Guides Association. She is also certified in First Aid, Swift Water Rescue, and Four Wheel Drive. With her wealth of knowledge and experience, you can trust that you'll be in good hands.
