For avid golfers, Ladies Day Golf takes place on Tuesdays at 9am, offering the opportunity to play 9 or 18 holes and compete for weekly prizes. On Wednesdays, Men's Day features a 9am shotgun start with a $5 weekly fee. The Gabriola Golf & Country Club was imagined by local islanders in the late 1960s and officially opened in 1981, becoming the island's only golf course.
