Gabriola Golf & Country Club

Located on the picturesque Gabriola Island, Gabriola Golf & Country Club offers a unique and serene setting for golf enthusiasts and event planners alike. The fully licensed and air-conditioned log clubhouse can accommodate up to 80 people, making it the ideal venue for corporate golf events, social gatherings, milestone celebrations, and more.

Every Sunday morning, guests can indulge in a delectable brunch from 9am to 12pm, featuring a variety of breakfast options such as eggs any style, bacon or sausage, hash browns, toast, Belgian waffles, and more. Additionally, the club hosts a fun game of Shazaam on Tuesdays, offering 9 holes of golf with rewards for long putts, KP, and cleaners.

For avid golfers, Ladies Day Golf takes place on Tuesdays at 9am, offering the opportunity to play 9 or 18 holes and compete for weekly prizes. On Wednesdays, Men's Day features a 9am shotgun start with a $5 weekly fee. Friday nights are dedicated to dart competitions and delicious burger nights, providing a lively atmosphere for socializing and friendly competition.

The Gabriola Golf & Country Club was imagined by local islanders in the late 1960s and officially opened in 1981, becoming the island's only golf course. The challenging 5,705-yard par 71 course boasts stunning views of Hoggan Lake, wildlife sightings, and a peaceful natural environment. With separate tee boxes for a front and back nine, players can test their skills and enjoy a unique golfing experience on Gabriola Island.

To reach the club, guests can take the Gabriola Island Ferry from downtown Nanaimo and follow the directions to South Road. The clubhouse is conveniently located on South Road, making it easily accessible by ferry, private boat, or seaplane.
