The training centres are located in and around the Reading area and serve as the training and competition hub for the youth top league team, Reading Athletics Clubs junior section. Additionally, the programme works in partnership with local schools and youth sporting groups to extend its reach and impact.
The sessions are led by Charlotte Webb, a Level 2 qualified UKA coach, who collaborates closely with Reading Athletics Club. Charlotte is supported by a team of qualified UKA coaches, including former Olympic and national level athletes, who deliver group training sessions. The coaches are DBS cleared to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
Fundamental Fitness & Athletics offers both group sessions and one-on-one training. Group sessions provide a fun and supportive environment for children to learn and improve their skills alongside their peers. One-on-one coaching is also available for those seeking a more personalised approach. These individual sessions allow for tailored instruction and immediate feedback, enabling students to progress at a faster rate.
