At Functional Fitness, we provide a unique boutique-style training environment in Portishead, Bristol. Our studio is designed, staffed, and equipped to ensure that clients can make real progress toward their individual fitness goals. We offer personalised training sessions and small fitness classes to accommodate clients at all levels, from beginners to top sports performers. Our dedicated team of trainers is experienced in supporting clients in their recovery journey and helping them regain their strength after illness or injury.

In line with our approach, we have recently moved to a larger, brand new bespoke space to accommodate our growing team and clientele.
One of our popular training methods is suspension training, which has been highly effective for clients with various fitness backgrounds. Many of our clients have experienced significant improvements in their strength and recovery, particularly after injuries or surgeries. This form of training, led by our experienced trainers Jo and Emily, focuses on proper biomechanics and helps individuals connect with their bodies to improve their overall training experience.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, we were committed to providing continued support to our clients. We moved our classes and support online to ensure that our clients could stay active and motivated from the comfort of their homes. As restrictions eased, we took extra precautions to ensure the safety of our clients when they returned to our new gym. Our facility is pristine, and we have implemented thorough COVID-19 precautions to provide a safe and comfortable training environment.
