Fun Football (7-8yrs)

Southland Football Inc is excited to announce the start of the Fun Football Programme for children aged 7-8! This program is all about creating a fun and engaging environment for young players to develop their skills and love for the game. It's not just about winning, but about enjoying the game and improving along the way.

Starting on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at the ILT Football Turf, this program will run every Saturday from 9:30am to 10:20am. The focus is on fundamental skills, game intelligence, and physical literacy to help players progress on their football journey.

Parents and game leaders are encouraged to let the players learn and play without excessive instruction, allowing the game itself to be the teacher. The goal is to have a recommended 2-3 hours of training per week, with additional activities like Fun Football Centres and Holiday programs to reinforce learning.
