Join the Canberra Physical Culture Club (CPCC) for a fantastic opportunity to participate in fun and affordable dance classes that empower girls for life. With an impressive 30 years of experience, the dedicated teachers Maree Wilson and Helen Wilson have a lifelong association with physical culture. CPCC offers classes in Wanniassa and Kambah every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoon.
CPCC provides students with the exciting chance to compete at various levels throughout the year, including club, interclub, regional, and national levels. Girls have the option to compete as individuals or as members of teams, offering a diverse range of participation opportunities. The pinnacle of the physical culture year is undoubtedly the National Championships, a breathtaking event held at prestigious venues like the Sydney Opera House and the Homebush State Sports Centre.
However, CPCC goes beyond competitions. Our club is actively involved in major events such as the opening ceremony of the Rugby League Grand Final, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, and the nationally televised Darling Harbour Christmas Concert. Notably, our members have also had the incredible honour of participating in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympics in 2000, as well as the Centenary of Federation Parade.
In addition to fostering club spirit and sportsmanship, our practice classes, competitions, and main events also provide invaluable platforms for our students to display their skills and talent. CPCC is all about embracing the joy of physical culture, so join us today and embark on an exciting journey filled with dance, camaraderie, and personal growth.
