Flashpoint Cardiff provides top-notch training facilities for rock climbers of all abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned pro, there's always a new route to try, keeping things fresh and exciting. Plus, regular boulder socials give climbers the chance to meet others and share tips.

For families, Flashpoint Cardiff is also a children’s amusement centre with a dedicated children's café where kids can enjoy tasty treats. Claire has made sure that children’s parties are something special, making every celebration memorable and fun.

If you're new to Flashpoint Cardiff, it’s good to get familiar with the necessary info beforehand to ensure a smooth visit. Adults can book an Intro session or just pop in to get started. Experienced climbers need to watch a short video induction, read the conditions of use, and fill out a registration form before climbing.

Children and youth have plenty of options too, with various age-appropriate activities and classes. There’s a special ‘den’ area for the littlest climbers aged 0-3 and NICAS Wild Climbers sessions for ages 4-6. Those aged 7-15 need a registered adult to supervise them, with some forms to fill out for safety.

Teenagers aged 14-15 can climb independently if they have an enhanced parental consent form, and competent climbers aged 16 and over can climb on their own once they’ve registered.
