Instructor with over 3000 hours of teaching experience. I offer Hatha and Vinyasa Flow classes with a specialism in pre and postnatal yoga.

At Firefly Yoga, we believe that yoga works on multiple levels – physical, emotional, and spiritual. Our classes aim to bring all bodily systems into perfect balance, leaving you feeling more grounded and at ease in everyday life. Our Hatha Yoga classes are accessible to everybody and every BODY, focusing on conscious and intelligent movement through yoga asana to change your body at a cellular level. This will give you ease and freedom of movement in your day-to-day activities.

For moms, we offer specialised postnatal and pregnancy yoga classes. Our postnatal classes are dedicated solely to mum, focusing on postures that help gently realign the spine and connect with deep core muscles and the pelvic floor. These classes aim to strengthen and stabilise the pelvis after birth, aiding in a quicker recovery. Our pregnancy yoga classes provide a calm strength and inner balance, addressing the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy.

Carefully adapted poses gently open your body and alleviate some symptoms associated with pregnancy.

We also offer baby yoga classes that are designed for both mum and baby. The yoga postures in these classes open the chest, shoulders, and lengthen the spine, relieving tension, aches, and pains. Additionally, postnatal yoga in these classes helps to strengthen and stabilise the pelvis after birth, aiding in a faster recovery.

Our classes are held weekly during term time. On Mondays, we have a Flow class from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Indigo Yoga in Harpenden Cricket Pavilion. We are also collaborating with Kerry at Indigo Yoga to offer more classes in 2024.

Vicki, the founder of Firefly Yoga, is a passionate and experienced instructor. She discovered yoga for fitness and flexibility but quickly realised its grounding and restorative benefits. Vicki's teaching style is dynamic, alignment-based, and deeply informed by her perinatal training. She places a strong emphasis on correct alignment and personal assists to help each student get the most out of every class.
