Welcome to Fightworx Academy, Taunton. Fightworx Academy is more than just a gym; it is a team, a family, a way of life. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned professional, everyone is welcome at Fightworx. Dedicated, champion instructors in each individual discipline ensure that you receive the best possible instruction at all times.

Fightworx Academy Taunton opened its doors in 2015 with the intention of providing a friendly, family-oriented, clean, and welcoming gym. Our goal is to ensure that no one feels out of place or intimidated. We aim to create a gym where you can train in Combat Sports but is not just for fighters. It is a gym for hobbyists, individuals looking to try something new, or those who want to get fit and build their confidence.

It is a gym for children and females. In short, it is a gym for anyone and everyone.

At Fightworx, we offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Additionally, we provide fitness training, strength and conditioning, and sports massage. Our classes cater to all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced. We take pride in offering a welcoming, friendly, and family-style environment where everyone feels comfortable to train.

We believe that training should be available to everyone, regardless of their skill level.

Our instructors are highly trained, experienced, and approachable. They are dedicated to helping you achieve your personal goals and provide individual attention and guidance throughout your training journey. Fightworx Academy boasts a fully matted out and equipped training area to ensure a safe and optimal training environment for all our members.

As part of our commitment to growth and development, we offer access to competitions and provide full training and preparation support. We also have a junior programme for children and teenagers aged 5-15, which encourages discipline and self-defence in a fun and friendly environment.

Fightworx Taunton BJJ is proud to be affiliated with the Roger Gracie Academy (Bucks) under Kev Capel, a 3rd Degree Black Belt.
