Helen Sharpe is the dedicated and passionate owner of Fast and Fit – Helen Sharpe Personal Trainer in Cardiff. With over 10 years of experience as a personal trainer, Helen is committed to helping her clients achieve their fitness goals and transform their lives.

Helen's own fitness journey began when she discovered a love for running. As a marathon runner and UK champion, she understands the power and benefits of leading an active lifestyle. She has achieved awards in dancing and swimming during her youth and went on to complete her Masters and work at St Andrews University before deciding to make fitness her career.

As a personal trainer, Helen has worked in various settings, including outdoor locations, gyms, and hotels. She has experience working with sport teams and elite student athletes at the University of the West of England and has also worked for The Southmead Development Trust in Bristol as an instructor for the GP exercise referral scheme.

Helen's work in Bristol involved delivering specialised classes such as cardiac rehab, strength and balance, and better breathing (pulmonary rehab). She understands the challenges that individuals face when starting or maintaining an exercise regime, and she has helped many people overcome barriers such as injuries, confidence issues, intensity, and goal setting.

Helen's passion for health and fitness shines through in her sessions. She is a highly qualified personal trainer, with credentials including a Level 4 Personal Trainer certification, leader in Run Fitness, Pilates Instructor, GP Exercise Referral Instructor, UK Athletics Level 1 Coach, Cardiac Rehabilitation Instructor, Postural Stability Instructor (falls prevention), and training in indoor cycling, kettlebells, suspension training, and walking netball.

In addition to her fitness qualifications, Helen has also achieved personal success in sports. As a marathon and cross-country runner, she is a member of Cardiff AAC and Penarth & Dinas clubs. She is the Welsh over 40s cross-country champion and has represented Scotland East in various competitions, winning bronze, silver, and gold medals at the UK Inter-counties Cross-Country.
