To ensure a seamless experience, riders are required to book and pay for their farm ride using the online booking system at least 24 hours prior to their arrival.
The course caters to riders of all abilities, from absolute beginners to more advanced riders. For those seeking an extra thrill, Farnley Farm Ride features an impressive selection of 65 optional jumps, ranging from small logs to bold, 1-metre cross-country fences. To ensure riders stay on track, the course is marked with red and white flags, with riders instructed to keep the red flag on their right to ensure they follow the designated route.
Another notable aspect of Farnley Farm Ride is that it is exclusively off-road, making it one of the few horse ride courses in the Yorkshire region with this distinction. All riders need to bring is their horse, suitable safety equipment, and a sense of adventure. To ensure the safety of all participants, riders are expected to respect other riders and adhere to the provided code of conduct.
The cost for the 2023 season is 24. 00 per rider, which includes unlimited time on the course. Children under 8 years old can enjoy the ride for 20. 00, and dogs are welcome for a small fee of 1.
00 per dog. Please note that if more than one rider is sharing a horse/pony, an additional charge of 20. 00 applies. Similarly, if a rider brings multiple horses on the same visit, the second and subsequent horses are charged at 20.
