Farnham Common Cricket Club

Farnham Common Cricket Club is a friendly and inclusive cricket club located in Slough, Buckinghamshire. As part of the Farnham Common Sports Club, the club has a thriving cricket section that caters to both adults and juniors.

The adult section of the club competes in the Thames Valley League, with the 1st XI playing in Division 4 and the 2nd XI in Division 7. Additionally, the club's Sunday side, known as The Commoners, engages in a variety of Sunday friendlies. The club's main focus is to provide a pathway for their budding junior cricketers to transition into adult league cricket.

The junior section, or Colts, has experienced significant growth in recent seasons, reaching 150 members for the first time ever in 2022. The club has several age group sides that compete in the Bucks Junior Leagues. Furthermore, Farnham Common CC is dedicated to growing girls' cricket and introduced their first girls-only team in 2022, which has been a fantastic addition to the junior section.

Training sessions are held on various days and times depending on the age group. Adults and U17s train on Wednesday evenings, while U13s to U15s have mid-week or weekend morning sessions. The most popular training is on Friday nights, catering to Year 1 to 6 (U6 to U11) players throughout the Summer term.
