Flashpoint Cardiff, the well-known Indoor Climbing club in Cardiff, is excited to announce a thrilling event specially tailored for all climbing enthusiasts! Introducing the Family Bouldering & Auto-Belays activity, this session is an excellent opportunity for both beginners and experienced boulderers who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge.
During this action-packed session, participants will be treated to a thorough safety brief and will learn essential bouldering safety measures and techniques. In addition, they will also have the chance to supervise under 16's or experience the thrill of using the auto belay towers. With the guidance of our experienced instructors, everyone will gain a solid foundation in bouldering and learn how to safely manoeuvre the auto belay towers.
Lasting for an hour and a half, the session is designed to boost participants' confidence and equip them with the necessary skills to enjoy any of the climbing facilities at Flashpoint Cardiff. For those attending as a family group, our maximum ratio is 2 children per adult, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
To ensure comfort during the activity, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing similar to what one would choose for a P.E. lesson or a gym workout. Adding to that, bringing along thin socks to wear without climbing shoes is also advisable. All children participating must be properly supervised by at least one adult taking part in the session. Safety is our priority, and we want everyone to have a fantastic time!
Located at Freemans Parc, Flashpoint Cardiff provides ample parking with no time limits, making it convenient for all attendees. We kindly ask everyone to arrive at least 10 minutes early to streamline the preparation process, ensuring a smooth start to the event. Whether you're arriving by car, train or foot, accessing our venue is a breeze.
Please note that we welcome participants of all ages, with weight restrictions for the auto belay set between 22 lbs (10 kg) and 330 lbs (150 kg). We understand the importance of convenience, which is why we offer lockers for use. However, do remember to bring your own padlock.
