Our main vessel, the Southern Angler, is a traditional wooden fishing boat equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable fishing trip. From toilets to refreshments, we ensure that you have everything you need to make the most of your time on board. Our friendly crew is always available to assist you and help you fish in comfort.

During our Spring/Summer months, we offer both mackerel and reef fishing trips. With capacity for up to 30 people fishing and an additional 10 spectators, there's plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the experience. We depart from Exmouth Seafront, located along the two miles of sandy beach. Please double-check your departure point at the time of booking, as we also depart from the marina.
Our fishing trips take you along the gateway to the World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast, allowing you to witness millions of years of Earth's history. We also venture along the mouth of the River Exe, a Site of Special Scientific Interest known for its wildlife and nature. The beautiful scenery guarantees a visual treat during your trip.
All fishing rods and tackle are provided on our trips, and you get to keep everything you catch. If you'd like, we can even prepare the fish for you on board, so you can cook your fresh catch as soon as you're back on dry land. For those interested in sailing, there's also an opportunity to drive the boat and learn about the waters in the area.
Our aim is to provide a relaxed and family-friendly fishing experience. Spending quality time together on the water and engaging in a hands-on activity away from the daily hustle and bustle can be a refreshing change of pace. We have a small selection of refreshments on board, as well as toilet facilities.
Please remember that our boat does not have any cover, so it's important to dress appropriately for the weather conditions. It can get a bit chilly out on the water, so bring warm clothing to stay comfortable. We have a dedicated parking area available at the marina or along the seafront, but do keep in mind that it can get busy during the summer months.
