Everglades Country Golf Club

The Everglades Country Golf Club, located in Christchurch, is a 9-Hole golf course that has been established since 1967. Situated just 20 minutes north of central Christchurch, the course is bordered by the Kaputone stream on two sides, offering a picturesque and tranquil environment for golfers.

The layout of the course is relatively straightforward, with tree-lined fairways and small greens offering a challenge to players of all skill levels. The club operates a full winter and summer programme of competitive and social golf, catering to both men and women. Club days at Everglades are run with a shotgun start, allowing for a collective finish after play. Men's NZSCR is 63 and Ladies' NZSCR is 67. New members are welcome in various categories, including Full, 9 Holes, Midweek, and Juniors membership. There is also an Associate membership option, which provides players with a handicap, and Associate members pay green fees.

Club days are held every Saturday, with the starting times as follows: 10. 30 am for Putting competition option, and all cards must be in by 10. 45 am. The tee off for the Match of the day is at 11 am.

The course is closed to green fee players from 10. 30 am to 3 pm on Saturdays. On Tuesdays, there are Ladies 18 holes and Ladies 9 holes club days, with cards in by 9. 30 am for tee off at 9.
