Welcome to Essence of Living, a Yoga retreat centre and training centre nestled in the serene Tallebudgera Valley, Australia. Founded over 19 years ago by Michelle, Essence of Living has welcomed over a million students through its humble doors, igniting their vitality and helping them realise their infinite potential.
Michelle, a dedicated and passionate Yoga and Pilates teacher, believes in the power of continuous learning and growth. While she has completed numerous trainings and learned from some of the world's greatest teachers, she continues to expand her knowledge and share her expertise with others. Essence of Living offers a variety of teacher trainings, retreats, community classes, and workshops, but more importantly, it provides a support network, a sense of community, and a home away from home.
Essence of Living acknowledges and pays respect to the First Nations People, the traditional custodians of the land. The centre values diversity and is committed to providing an inclusive service for all individuals.
The Yoga classes at Essence of Living are led by Michelle herself, who is known for her creative vinyasa flow classes that constantly evolve and challenge students. Her classes inspire and encourage students to move their bodies in new ways, all while prioritising safety. Michelle's authenticity shines through in her teaching, as she embodies and lives her talk.
Essence of Living offers transformative teacher trainings that have been described as life-changing by many. These on-demand videos allow you to practise from the comfort of your own home, with sessions ranging from 10 minutes to 1 hour and suitable for beginners to advanced practitioners.
