Welcome to Equine Communication – Horsemanship with Darren Simpson. With over 20 years of experience, Darren and his wife Sharon are dedicated to educating horses and their riders on traditional horsemanship. The foundation of every relationship with your horse lies in horsemanship, encompassing all interactions such as feeding, rugging, floating, and riding.
One notable aspect of our school is Darren's expertise in Reining. Reining is a Western sport where the competitor runs a pattern willingly guided, and the judge evaluates the run based on correctness, cadence, attitude, smoothness, finesse, and speed. Darren, who has been a Reining Judge for over 15 years, offers seminars for competitors and aspiring judges, sharing his secrets of judging.
As part of our efforts to provide ongoing support and resources, we will soon be offering a subscription service for members. This will include access to videos, interactive conversations, and Zoom forums. There will be a monthly fee for this service, but no long-term contracts – you can cancel at any time. Signing up will ensure that you stay updated on new videos, products, and services available.
To get in touch with us, you can visit us in person at our training centre, which is located on our family property in Neurum, Queensland. Please note that we operate by appointment only. We specialise in communication and behaviour and are available for private or shared sessions from Monday to Friday. On weekends, we offer private clinics and seminars.
Our flexible scheduling allows us to cater to your group or club, including evening appointments.
