Wheelchair or have limited mobility, this class is specifically designed for you.
At Energy of One Yoga, the benefits of yoga are recognised and prioritised. Yoga is a whole mind-body connexion that promotes physical and mental wellbeing. It improves flexibility, strength, and endurance while also reducing stress and anxiety. With yoga, you can cultivate inner strength and confidence, leading to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.
Lisa, the founder and instructor at Energy of One Yoga, is a highly qualified and experienced yoga teacher. She holds a Diploma of Yoga Teaching from the Victorian Institute of Yoga Education and Teacher Training, as well as certifications in Chair Yoga Teacher Training and Advanced Chair Yoga Teacher Training. Additionally, she is trained in health counselling, meditation teaching, Reiki, crystal therapy, and angel card reading.
Lisa's own yoga journey began over 26 years ago when she decided to prioritise her health and well-being after an illness and multiple surgeries. Being shy and reserved, she found comfort in a yoga class where she could work at her own pace and level. Through regular practise, Lisa noticed significant improvements in her physical flexibility and strength, as well as her mental well-being. She incorporated the breathing techniques she learned in yoga into her daily life, helping her manage stress and anxiety.
Yoga became her secret to looking and feeling healthier and calmer.
Now, Lisa is passionate about sharing her love for yoga and its transformative benefits. Her classes cater to all levels of experience, whether you are new to yoga or have been practising for years. She strongly believes that yoga is a personal journey, and everyone can benefit from a class, regardless of their limitations. To accommodate different needs, Lisa offers various types of classes.
Mat classes are suitable for those who can comfortably get on the floor, while chair yoga classes are done mostly sitting on a chair and using it as support. There is also an adaptive yoga class designed specifically for individuals in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
