All That Dance, the contemporary dance club in The Gap, is excited to present the End of Year Concert. This spectacular showcase brings together all of our incredibly talented dancers and singers for a night of unforgettable performances. Trust us when we say, this is an event you do not want to miss!
Taking place at the Twelfth Night Theatre in Bowen Hills, the concert will feature two shows: a Matinee and an Evening performance. We ask that all students commit to participating in both shows, as this is a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills and passion for dance.
Leading up to the show weekend in late November, we have scheduled a full dress rehearsal and a stage rehearsal at the theatre. We want to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that our dancers feel confident on stage. Please keep in mind that there is a non-refundable costume deposit of $55 per student, per class, which will be charged in Term 3. This deposit enables us to purchase costumes that will truly enhance the performance. The remaining balance will be due in Term 4, with costumes typically ranging in price from $55 to $85.
We understand that sometimes adjustments may be needed to ensure the perfect fit for our dancers. If this is the case, we are more than happy to provide information about local dressmakers who offer reasonably priced alteration services. We want to make sure that our dancers feel comfortable and confident on stage, and a well-fitted costume plays a big role in that!
By participating in the End of Year Concert, not only will our students gain valuable stage experience, but they will also have the opportunity to form strong relationships and bond as a group. We believe that the sense of camaraderie and teamwork developed during this event is truly special. We do want to emphasise that participation in the concert is optional, but we can guarantee that it will be loads of fun!
For those who choose not to participate, don't worry, you can still attend classes until the end of Term 4. We want to make sure that all of our students have a chance to dance and grow at their own pace.
