All That Dance Dance Studio in The Gap is thrilled to announce the addition of three new exciting dance styles in 2024! If you're passionate about contemporary dance, then you won't want to miss out on these incredible opportunities.
First up, we have Lyrical dance, a stunning fusion of ballet and jazz techniques that emphasises expression and emotion. Through Lyrical dance, dancers will have the chance to convey captivating stories with every movement they make. This class is available for dancers of all ages and skill levels, from Junior and Elementary to Intermediate and Senior levels.
If you're looking for a high-energy and dynamic dance form, then Cheerdance is perfect for you. Combining cheerleading and dance, this class will have you grooving to fun music while incorporating pom-poms and basic acro/gymnastic skills. Open to ages 9–14 years, the Cheerdance class promises to be an absolute blast!
For those seeking a unique and awe-inspiring experience, we introduce Aerial Arts. Specifically focusing on silks and hoops, this class combines athleticism and creative expression. Students will have the opportunity to explore the graceful and beautiful world of aerial dance while simultaneously building strength and having a great time. The Aerial Arts class is open to Junior and Intermediate levels.
Please note that the Aerial Arts class does have a strict dress code in place to ensure safety. For this class, students must wear full-length leggings, a tight-fitted leotard or singlet, and have their hair styled in a neat bun or braids. Additionally, jewellery is not permitted during class.
In Term 1, the Aerial Arts class will place a strong emphasis on learning fundamentals, building strength, and developing flexibility. It will be a fantastic opportunity for dancers to lay a solid foundation. Term 2 will introduce the use of silks and hoops, taking the Aerial Arts experience to new heights.
