Emmanuel Boat Club, Hughes Hall Boat Club, and Lucy Cavendish College Boat Club are three rowing clubs in Cambridge. Established in 1827, Emmanuel Boat Club (EBC) is open to members of Emmanuel College and has a strong presence in the competitive College rowing circuit. The club regularly participates in the famous Cambridge University bumping races, held twice a year on the River Cam. EBC's top crews also compete outside of Cambridge in the Tideway heads and consistently perform well in the top divisions of the May Bumps.
