The New Zealand Schools of European Martial Arts, a local mixed martial arts club based in Wellington, invites you to an exciting upcoming event. This event will showcase the incredible talent and skill of our members, as they demonstrate the techniques and techniques they have learned through their dedicated training.
Located at 190 Knights Road, Waterloo, Lower Hutt, Wellington, our studio is conveniently close to the Waterloo train station, making it easily accessible for both participants and spectators. Whether you are a seasoned martial artist or just starting out, our club offers classes in a variety of martial styles suitable for all skill levels.
Throughout the week, we hold classes catering to both adults and children. Our adult classes run on Monday and Thursday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, as well as on Tuesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. On Monday nights, our focus is on Medieval martial arts from Germany, with an emphasis on two-handed sword (longsword), sword and buckler, sword alone, and unarmed combat. Tuesday nights are dedicated to Enlightenment martial arts, alternating between Small or Court Sword and the Scottish Baskethilted broadsword. Wednesdays are specifically designed for children and cover the same material as our Monday night classes.
If you're interested in joining our training sessions, newcomers are always welcome to join on the first training night of the month. Now, let's talk about pricing. We offer various pricing options to suit your needs. You can opt for a streamed membership, which costs $30 per specified stream, allowing you to attend classes on a specific night of your choice. We also have a monthly membership for $60, which grants you access to classes on both Monday and Thursday nights. If you're looking for a long-term commitment, our yearly membership is available at $600, giving you twelve months of training for the price of ten. And for those who prefer a more flexible approach, we offer a casual rate of $10 per lesson.
Please keep in mind that our memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable, ensuring that each member gets the full benefits of their chosen package.
